it is hard to believe that hump day (the half way point of his mission) is litterally next week, gotta pick out which white shirt i will burn, haha. I have noticed how much i have changed in the past year and how much more i still have to do. haha i think the first year is the learning part and then the second year is your time to shine. atleast for us normal missionaries that arent ready on the first step, or us foreigners. Every week i am learning more and more about missionary work. i think it will be impossible for me to come to a point where i can be better, (duh) haha but in the missionary field sense. Even though missionary work is not easy, it is the best decision that a person can make in their lives. its the best way to become converted. it is my Alma the younger version of conversion.
I hope all is well at home. how is the job interview coming? anything new? well all is well here, just working and sweating a bit since its heated up a little bit. winter here is not the same as home. Haha
we helped one of the other pairs of missionaries move out of their house and into their new slick ocean view house. i am jealous, but it went well and they are pretty much moved.
last week had a conference in Itabuna with a Seventy, Elder ......i forgot his name, i wrote it in my notebook but forgot to write it in my planner. it was a good conference. then the week before, i gave a really short lesson on part of the Salvador training we got. the part was about the Doctrine of Christ (aka principles of the gospel) . Fé, Arrependimento, Batismo, Dom do Espirito Santo, e Persever até o fim. Try to figure that one out!!! haha it was good.
So, i didnt have time to make a recording for you kim. im sorry, but its been a super busy week. i want to still try to make one so ill try to before tomorrow. we will see. (Kevin did make and send a recording. We played during Kim’s wedding reception. We had a life-size cardboard figure created of
I got your last two packages mom, the ones u sent when u were in Utah. i already ate all the twizzlers. haha i missed them. i am reading the two books you sent too. they are very interseting.
