(To Dad) Im sorry to hear about the loss. (A high school friend of Spencer’s passed away this week.) Things like that a never good, but we are privilaged to have the fullness of the plan of happyness to know that there is a life after this life and we will be able to see and be with our family and friends after our time comes. Just remember that. Just learn from past mistakes and ill understand with im traveling with you and it takes a day to drive from utah to idaho or whatever trip we do in the future.
Im sad the states lost (World Cup Soccer), but ive also seen the vast improvements we are making. We are actually pulling out wins and making plays when we need it. MAybe not every chance turns into a goal, but the fact that we are putting up those chances makes me excited for the 2014 cup in Brasil that ill be going to in 4 years. haha hopefully i can do that, if not the 2016 olympics are here too. so we will see.
Not much else is new here, just getting used to the added responsiblilites of being District Leader. its a new, but helps me grow.
(To Mom) Sounds like you are all having fun with Blondie and the suprise. haha i guess kim and geoff didnt do as much research as they could of done. haha oh well.
About the dentist, here they dont do anything unless there is a problem. so im brushing my teeth every morning, after lunch if i can, and before bed. i still forget about flossing, so i need to get better about that. not sure what else i can do to take better care of my teeth
Questions do help me organize ideas, and without any, i just write whatever comes to mind and forget lots of things. so continue asking questions.
Im sending the recording, and try to have something for me to say in portugues or any requests so i can include them in the recording.

im still waiting for the packages, the ZLs are going to salvador today, so ill find out if i got them by friday. im keeping my fingers crossed untill then. i hope you sent more deoderant, cause i didnt think about that till just recently.
*** Notes from recording (paraphrased by Mom): Kevin – nor his companion was transferred. However- the other companionship - Pickering & Hernandez - in the house were transferred. Kevin misses the guys ,but does enjoy the additional space! He was also made DL - District Leader (LED in Portuguese). He receives the weekly reports and passes them on to the Zone Leaders (ZL). One of the ZL’s is a former companion (Purcell) – so Kevin is excite d to work with him again. He conducted his first two baptismal interviews and organized the weekly District Meeting. He asks us to continue to pray for investigators in his area. He gave us a little less on verbs and pronouns in Portuguese!
