Questions -
* What did you do for your Birthday???? (I put an additional $50 in your
acct. tonight. Looks like you have some kind of hamburger joint there in
your area?)
we didnt do awhole lot, but we went to Bob´s an american hamburger place here in brazil that make really good milkshakes. Not In and Out milkshakes but good ones. We did more stuff sunday since it was also my DLs birthday sunday. We bought mini-pizzas sat and made them sunday night with the rest of our district. He got like 3 cakes so we ate them, well not all of it. And just some other little things. Nothing too over the top. I have learned that i never want to go a birthday without my family after my mission. I only have to miss one more, haha but my companions become somewhat family, so its not too bad. But i still want to be with family for my birthdays.
* So what are the responsibilities of a Senior Companion?
Everything pretty much, i take heat for bad numbers or stuff. Im basically the one in charge, but we both do the same work. not much else.
* Have you found any new investigators?
Its been hard for us 4 missionaries to get news (I think he means investigators) here, but we are working everyday to find elites.
* Aside from the heat - what do you like about your area?
I like being by the ocean, its nice to live by one finally. It rains a bit more here, even though thats not always a good thing. This area is just different, so its nice to experiance new things. 5 girls here have been married to american returned missionaries, so unfortuately the women here have a slightly different idea of missionaries. but im not here to find my wife, i know my wife is in the states. but it will be interesting.
I was looking at the Conference Liahona a member had and saw Kelsey Gubler in it, so look for her picture.! i was skimming and say here and said ``what the heck, whats Kelsey doing there!!`` haha so i showed everyone her. shes the second friend i have known thats been in the April conference issue.
